Description

Wide, front and rear-specific Aerodynamicist rim profiles, with a shallower front wheel designed to maintain maximum speed while minimizing crosswind effects.

This mixed-depth system was designed to allow riders to maintain their low, aero body position over long, windy courses, maximising rider/bike/wheel efficiency.

Tyre size: Aero optimized for 25 to 28mm tyres; work well with 23mm up to 40mm.

Rims

  • Aerodynamicist profile, disc-specific hooked design & aerodynamically optimized for 25-28c tyres.
  • Front: 34mm external and 20mm internal, 73mm depth
  • Rear: 30mm external and 20mm internal, 87mm depth
  • H_LOCK bead-seat up-kicks, for easy and secure tubeless installation.
  • Matt black base finished with matt white contrasting graphics.

Spokes

  • 20 front and 24 rear, laced 2-cross
  • Aero Butted 2.0-2.2/0.95-2.0 then PSR section is 2.2
  • Straight-pull, for excellent torsional strength and direct power transfer.
  • Cold drawn from high grade T302 (18/10) stainless steel wire by Sandvik Sweden.
  • Patented Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement (butted again just before the spoke head, providing more durability in high stress.
  • Black stainless finish

Nipples

  • Alloy square body for external adjustment and square head for easy internal adjustment/tensioning.
  • 16mm length with washer for a strong connection to the spoke added durability.
  • 14 gauge
  • Black anodized finish.

Tires Info

  • HUNT recommends a 25-28mm tyre for best performance, tyre widths between 22mm and 47mm are also safe to use.  
  • Note: best performance is usually gained by using tyre pressures lower than the maximum.
  • Tubeless-ready for lower weight and rolling resistance. 
  • You must not exceed the maximum tyre pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tyre manufacturer if this is lower.  

Axle Sizes

These wheels are compatible with the following axle specifications. We fit the axle adapters you need, just complete the simple form shown after checkout:

Front Hub

  • Forged and CNC’d 6066-T6 heat treated aluminium alloy body.
  • 6066-T6 aluminium alloy axles.
  • Center-lock disc mount. If you require a 6 bolt adaptor you can purchase separately
  • Polished anodized black finish with laser graphics.
  • Hunt Sprint SL Disc straight-pull super-light alloy.

Rear Hub

  • 6066-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy freehub body.
  • Steel Spline Insert freehub body reinforcement provides excellent durability against cassette sprocket damage to the freehub often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.
  • 3x treble-tooth individually leaf sprung pawls with 48 teeth on the ratchet ring for fast 7.5 degree engagement and instant acceleration.
  • All freehub standards accounted for.
  • Hunt Sprint SL Disc straight-pull super-light alloy.
